OH HELLO
I have gone completely missing for the past months, haven't I?
Well I have a very good excuse for that. After my graduation, so many things have happened in my life.
I've started job-hunting for months and in June, I finally landed an Internship (a Professional Internship that is) ((that means I get paid :D)) in Walt Disney World.
I went ballistic when I heard the news about me working in Disney. I don't work at the park tho. I work in a department called Creative Entertainment and my role is a Production Assistant.
It's been fun so far. I've met a lot of influential people and I learned a lot from them. I've got to go backstage at the parks and I've got to be part of some cool projects that's been going on at the parks. I love it. Working at Disney has been a dream come true for me. The company has a great positive and heartwarming image and I really enjoy every bit of my time here.
Setting the work-related stuff aside, I really miss my fandoms. Thanks to work, I couldn't really follow what's going on in Japan and Korea. I was so out of place during the World Cup cuz I was all over Brazil and football. Now that it's over, I'm going back to my root lol. A month of World Cup had gone by really quick tho. I remember watching the opening ceremony at a friend's place, went bar-hopping with friends to watch the matches, went to watch parties at downtown orlando on every USA match, and had a big get-together at church for the Finals. This year's World Cup was really interesting, I loved it. Although it sucks that Brazil lost so poorly to Germany and the Netherlands, there's always next time and next year. Next 4 years it is. lol.
Enough about football, let's talk J-POP. I tried my very best to backtrack everything that I've missed out on for the past 4-5 months. It's not like I've completely lost track of 'em. Sometimes I read the news about new releases or what not on twitter, but that's about it. I got so many distractions for the past months, anxiety about getting jobs and of course love life got in the way xD. All of that are gone now so I can focus more on work and fandom lol. To start off the backtracking session, I finished watching Shinigami-kun in one day. I had no intention to finish Yowakate whatsoever cuz the story bored me to death (sorry nino fans! ><). Downloaded ARAFES '13 last week and I LOVED IT. It makes me so much more excited for the LOVE concert now bc Ohno's solo. From the minute the preview went on morning shows, I knew Ohno's solo was gonna be a hit. Looking forward to it~
Other than Arashi, I've also backtracked Sexy Zone and Hey Say Jump. I've watched the first episode of Yuto and Yuya's Suikyuu Yankees and I gotta say it looks pretty interesting. Water polo.... It must be really exhausting for them to film this dorama cuz most of the shooting takes place in swimming pool. On to Sexy Zone now! A bit disappointed at J&A for whatever tactics they have on their new format. It really breaks the fandom apart. As a Kento-bias, I would say none of the members are happy with this. I believe they want all of them to promote as 5 together and as someone who's been observing a lot of what's going on in the entertainment industry, I feel like the members couldn't speak out their opinion regarding this issue. J&A should've known better that splitting 3 and 2 doesn't do no one any good. It's basically like a career suicide.
Anywayyyy, I'm writing this all of the sudden is because I'm bored at work lol. My Production Manager was supposed to review some meeting agenda with me today but he's out of the office so I am left with nothing to do~ Well not really. I still need to keep updating my resume and do other stuff but yeah I just wanna say Hi and let you all know that this blog is not dead.. yet. I still go here on daily basis to check up on subtitles and stuff. Soooooo, untill next post~~~~~~~
