yay for fall!
So KT, I'm writing just because you're making me. I don't really have the desire to write today because I have a lot of other stuff to do but what the heck. So Friday was the football game against McNeil and yeah, we lost. Don't know how but we did, sigh. Other than that the football game still sucked because people were misbehaving, spirit exchange was stupid, and we got officer exchange taken away from us. I was hoping the night would get better after the game cuz I went over to Kev's with Jenna and Pat, but Jenna had to leave at 12 and well, it went ok for awhile. The rest of the night was better. I left around 3:30ish and yeah. Unfortunately I found out some bad news the next morning and to say the least, my boyfriend got grounded and it's partially my fault. Sorry Patty.
Saturday we went out to eat as a flute section. I <3 my flutes! I really do. We are by far the closest section and we actually hang out with each other willingly. Well, I love most of em. There's one I would really like to hurt right now but that's another story. Anyway we had Westlake that night and we did okay. Drumline kicked some ass though and got first place with a score of 95.4! Hell yeah, I wish I was on drumline. We got like 5th in pre-lims with an 81 and then 5th in finals with an 85. 3rd, 4th, and 5th place were all really close though so that's good and our score went up. By the waaaay, to everybody in band: how many of your friends that aren't in band went to westlake? (that is, if you have friends outside of band. ha, jk) Yeah that's what I thought. Well 4 of mine came. That is right. I <3 yall Matt Maty Mike and Pat. Especially Matt cuz he got a ticket for speeding on the way to my competition cuz they thought they would be late haha. I love my friends!
It's Monday and I just got back from practice. AND IM TIRED.
And we'll all float on okay.
