Algorithmics, wonderful algorithmics.

Been lying in bed reading up on algorithmics today, enthralling stuff. Gotta buff up on my recurrance relations for tomorrow.
Data Security went ok, though there were a couple of questions that I struck out on. I remember having looked at AES 3 times before the test, yet I still forgot the order of operations once in there. At least the operations were all there, I guess. The other problem was in fast exponentiation. No matter how many times I tried to raise 9 to the power 39 mod 55 with a pencil and paper, I could never get it to multiply with 9 again to give an answer of 1...
Yeah, the test went okay, but it was frustrating.

On the upside, I just checked my mail and Tickle sent me a nice little email to stroke my ego.
"As a top-scorer on Tickle's IQ Test the in-depth analysis of your IQ score is FREE."
So after wading through 8 or so pages of optional promotional material, I found out that I'd answered all of the questions correctly.
Suppose I shouldn't gloat too much over an online test, but it was still a pleasant surprise.

Heard the residue of a rather frightening thunderclap. Couldn't even hear the high-range of it, just felt the massive bassy compression that rattled my little shack. Nearly crapped myself, to be perfectly honest. Don't much like storms that can pop my ears from a distance that precludes the hearing of the actual thunderclap.

Apart from the customary fear of failure that looms over the exam period, life's been really great. Summer's back, so I've been giving the pool a workout. Despite the occasional squall, Sam and I have been getting along farily well. Best of all, Kristy and I have been able to spend time together, which is absolutely fantastic.

Very much looking forward to Saturday. :)
