It is 5 years in the future. I have a national ID card. I am walking down the street. I'm not at all woried about my safty since with the card I store all my money behind biometric security. The fact people can no longer demand money off someone without it being traced has greatly cut down on crime, and now most of the city is safe to walk around.
Walking into my favourite restaurant I swipe my card and find a seat to wait for my meal. It's a T-bone steak, cooked just like I like it. without having to deal with the waiter I get it much faster and cheaper.
Sitting back with a content sigh I flip through the local paper. The front page declares the success of customs in tracking down illegal shipments. Making people accountable for good comming in and out of the country has greatly reduced the black market, improving the job rate in the country.
As I tuck my card back into my pocket I notice it's soon to expire. Swiping my card again as I leave the restaurant I order a new card to be sent to my home. Because of the huge savings the card offers, I won't even have to pay for it.

- It's so easy to write a very biased story about something, which proves nothing and just makes reactionaries get upset.
