YOU COULD NEVER BE SATISFIED

I have a head cold.
My head is filled with mucus.
I am congested.

Happy New Year!!!
*blows nose*

So...I spent the entire weekend cleaning my filthy cabin in the woods.  You see...when you spend two and half months only coming home to sleep....well, you begin to build what can only be deemed squalor.  Yes ladies and gents:  I was living in squalor.

It was gross.  But it's not anymore.  :)

I also managed to rearrange my place so that it finally makes sense...space-wise.

Anyway, last nite, I hung out with E. and Chris.  We spent the first half of the evening playing poker...and I won most of the time..which is unheard of.  I happen to be the kind of player that E. hates.  The poker player who knows jack shit about the game, bets on any and every hand, and wins almost every time.

After that, we went out to a hipster SIlverlake club to ring in the new year.  I hate hipster clubs, but this was actually amusing.  I ended up watching what almost ended up being a public orgy amongst 5 very ugly people.  Then, this skinny little white boy decided to dance the funk out of the entire building..and take out half the audience while doing so.  It was funny.

So, add to all that a tamale vendor who payed off the doorman to park his car in front of the venue (silverlake hipsters love their tamales at 11:30pm) and the champagne we illegally uncorked ourselves and you have yourself a respectably amusing new year's.

Today, I caught up on a lot of lost sleep, cooked a ginormous breakfast for E. and Chris, watched and passed out to The Muppet Show, and twisted my body into a brazillion knots by sleeping on the couch.

Now, we're tracking the very first Jeezum Crow song in the Silverlake House.

It's bad assss.

More on Jeezum Crow later...but if you're truly curious....

Tomorrow...I go back to my day job and quietly wishing death on everyone who dares give me lip.

My job can Suck it!

new year's, breaking the law, pda, silverlake hipsters, sickness, jeezum crow, beginner's luck, poker
