Yay! First entry here! What better way to begin than with a short fic I wrote up the other day. Yeah, I fudged a bit on the AU rules, but it was fun to write anyway so as far as I'm concerned it's all good.
Title: Stolen Moments
Fandom: SGC
Rating: R
Character/Pairing: Sam/Janet
Spoilers: Season 3; Crystal Skull
Warnings: none
Summary: Sam and Janet seek out a little alone time whilst on Base.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.” Biting her lip in her uncertainty as she gazed about the room, Sam turned back to Janet.
“I think so at least.”
Holding the other woman close in her arms, Sam had a sudden idea.
“Follow me.”
Grabbing her hand, she pulled her out of the room and toward the end of the hallway as she looked around warily. Not only was she on the lookout for anyone she could actually see, but for the unseen as well. Chuckling to herself at the absurdity of that thought, she knew she just couldn’t be sure where Daniel was lurking next.
After he had disappeared on P7X-377 gazing into the eyes of the strange skull and the teams subsequent rush back through the gate because of the spike in the muon radiation levels, no one was certain where Daniel had gone. It was later learned that after Teal’c returned from a second trip to the planet to retrieve the crystal skull that Daniel had returned with him at the same time, though in another dimension other their own. Most of their questions were answered once Daniel’s uncle was brought in and plans were underway even now to return to the planet to hopefully reverse what had been done, but the until then they could never be sure where Daniel was lurking about the SGC.
Reaching the end of the corridor, Sam looked about her. Espying a door marked “Archives,” she quickly swiped her card, pushed the door open and looked back at Janet.
“Not the most romantic spot, but I think we should be safe in here.”
Stepping inside and flipping the light switch, she smiled as Janet followed pulling the door closed firmly behind her.
As they both gazed about the dim room at the myriad of tall shelves heaped with a myriad of dusty reports folders, books and boxes, Janet shrugged with a grin.
“Oh I wouldn’t say this isn’t the most romantic spot…” she quipped as she let her arms slide around Sam’s waist. “…it could always be worse. We did pass the janitor’s room on the way you know.”
Laughing outright, Sam pulled Janet close till their bodies were touching. Laying her forehead tenderly against the smaller woman’s, she felt a spark at the simple body contact. Leaning down, she captured Janet’s lips with her own. Slipping her tongue inside, they dueled for a moment as Janet’s hands moved up and around Sam’s neck to tangle in the soft hair found there. Feeling Janet’s low moan in her mouth, Sam pulled back and gazed at the flushed look on her lover’s face. Without a second thought, Sam moved Janet’s lab coat aside and began unbuttoning her blouse till the white laciness of a scanty bra was revealed.
“You’re so beautiful.” Reaching down, her hand moved over the soft mounds of her breasts still encased in the material as she began kissing the soft curve of her neck. Janet arched her back, pushing her breasts more fully into her lover’s hands and thereby letting Sam know exactly what she wanted.
Chuckling, Sam found the bra closure nestled between her breasts and let it pop. Pushing aside the hindering garments, one hand pinched and squeezed a nipple as the other roamed softly over the other breast gently caressing the soft skin. Bending her head, Sam captured a pert nipple in her lips and suckled like a baby, rolling her tongue over the pebbled areola.
“Saaamm…”
At that moment, a knock was heard at the door. Pulling apart in a panic, Janet quickly pulled her blouse together with shaking hands as Sam ran both hands through her hair and down her t-shirt smoothing the dark material out and wishing all the more that it was her emotions being smoothed instead.
Putting a finger to her lips and motioning Janet behind the door, Sam cleared her throat before grabbing a worn book from one of the nearby shelves.
“…research…uh, yeah…I needed this for research…”
Taking a deep breath, she gave Janet a wavering smile as she slowly opened the door. Prepared with a hurried greeting for whoever might be there, Sam was instead met with an empty doorway. Wrinkling her brow in confusion, she leaned her head out into the hallway and looked both ways. Seeing it empty, she shrugged and turned toward Janet.
“Whoever was here left I guess…and I think it might be a good idea if we did too.”
Nodding in agreement with what could only be a relieved expression on her face, Janet turned toward Sam one last time. Reaching up, she locked lips with Sam tantalizingly for several moments before turning and heading toward the door.
“We’ll finish this tonight.”
The clip of Janet’s heels as she made her way down the hallway to the infirmary echoed in Sam’s ears as she put the book back on the shelf.
“You can count on it hun…”
Grinning, Sam turned and closed the door behind her as she left. Retreating in the opposite direction, thoughts of the mysterious knocker gave her pause for only a moment before being pushed aside as her feverish mind imagined what the night would hold for them both.

Hours later, with the team safely walking back down the ramp toward Hammond and Teal’c waiting at the bottom, Sam turned toward Daniel with a sisterly look of affection upon her face, “I’m glad your back Daniel.”
“Me too…you can’t know how much.”
“Dr. Jackson, I can only second that.” Giving him a smile, Hammond then turned and looked at each of the team. “It’s going to be a long debriefing, people. We’ll begin in one hour.”
Nodding in acknowledgement with the order, Sam gave Daniel a smile as she handed over her MP5 to the waiting soldier before turning and following the Colonel out the bay door.
Catching up to her, Daniel cleared his throat. “There’s just one thing Sam.”
“Oh?”
“Uh…yeah...” Scratching his head with one hand and running it through his hair seemingly as if he struggled for the right words to say, he finally leaned in closer and whispered in her ear.
“Next time you need a book for research…warn me ahead of time.”
Sam stopped dead in her tracks as she felt a blush rise from her toes upward.
“Oh…my…god....”
