What happened to my weekend?
What have I done today? Fandom stuff, I guess, mostly. Going overseas for 11 weeks means needing a temporary SM for HASA - luckily a couple of the other admins are able and willing to help out. Various list convo on that and related topics. Liz's installation as the new Welcome and Beta Manager is producing good things.
Over at the Mithril Awards, over 520 works have been nominated so far. Nominations still open until May 9, so if you've read good Tolkien-based fic, poetry, or critical essays that appeared between April 1 2003 and April 1 2004, do nominate them! Stories based on The Hobbit, critical essays, short poems, and comic/light poems are the categories that have relatively few nominations so far, I've been informed.
I haven't worked on my article, which I should have done. I did speak with both my maternal and paternal units, and my sister as well. Rare's the weekend I talk to all three of them, and it does take up a chunk of time.
SO has requested that I take a break from the computer - been online most of the day - and I shall oblige.
