So - what (if any) "work of noble note" would you wish to do, before your own death? Have you done it yet?
I think mine is to write something that will be remembered by people who don't know me personally. Maybe a traditionally-published work, maybe some piece of my fanfic. I don't know if I've yet written that work or not...
