Machinery for the fail
So, the new router appears to be having a glitch; SO was unable to connect this morning, I got home and couldn't connect from my laptop either. There's a light on the router that looks like it's indicating that the wireless functionality is not enabled, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why. Will have to call their support later/tomorrow. Am currently on desktop; at least the wired connection works, since I have LIS discussion reading/posting to do!
On top of that, the problem with SO's car maybe-maybe not was having with the catalytic converter appears to be a yes, indeed. *headdesks* Cool. Estimated $2600 for it to be replaced, just when we're coughing up big wads of cash for my car (because for some reason we are apparently not able to finance the tax, which is okay in theory but a PITA in practice).
I'm waiting for the oven to explode next. You know, a 70+ year old gas oven? Just waiting to happen... or maybe the heat pump will die. *nod* Something.
