Best-laid plans...
SO is still here, now leaving tomorrow (or so we hope). There was some mechanical trouble with the plane he was on for the first leg, and by the time they were going to have it repaired and take off, he'd have missed all his connections. So he's managed to get rebooked for tomorrow, and we hope there will be no further plane problems or any weather delays.
OTOH, that meant that my mom had an excuse to make turkey tetrazzini (which she likes very much, but I don't) for dinner tonight (I got leftover turkey with gravy and the last of the dressing instead). And, well, I don't have any problem with seeing my SO for another night.
Tomorrow I'll be taking SO to the airport again, and then on the schedule is seeing The Golden Compass with my mom and a couple of her friends. (I reread the first book last week, to refresh my memory a bit about what happens.) Will be interested to see how it's done.
Had a lovely time with felaine this afternoon, having coffee and conversation together. {{hugs}} Great fun to meet and chat about fandom and slash, and hopefully again sometime although goodness knows when!
Still plugging away intermittently at the very large number of fics open in tabs (which has gone up since Yuletide opened). And oh, reveals for the
snarry_holidays fest are up, so I can say that I wrote "The Seeker and the Sought" for who_la_hoop, and thank stonegrad who wrote me "From the Dead to the Living." (I'll be reposting mine eventually, but probably not till fest madness has died down a bit... like mid-January maybe.)
