Fun with niblings
So my sister, niece, and nephew are here for the week and thus far we've seen Over the Hedge, spent much of yesterday at the local big amusement park, gone to the nearby playground, had them run in the sprinkler every day but one, and generally had a good time. Today was less fun for the kids as we went to Bed Bath & Beyond and also Home Depot (3 times, unfortunately).
Sis and I have installed bifold doors on my pantry (yay!) and she did all the hard part of replacing a bathroom light fixture -- I held the flashlight, mostly. *g* But she is much less worried about electrical stuff than I. And yes, of course we had the circuit turned off. I'm still nervous aobut it. Will be doing things with curtains tomorrow, after the zoo in the morning. Friday will be Cars and then Saturday they leave.
Just thought I'd say what I've been up to! Obviously managed to edit and post a couple of fics in the past several days, as well, but haven't written much new. Hope everyone's having a good week; I doubt I'll ever catch up on the flist but will simply start reading again from whenever I'm back online more.
