Day 3
In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.
Goals:
- sew a set of black robes so I can dress as Molly-Weasley-at-Hogwarts when I go to Misticon this spring
- write fiction again, whether it is fanfic or original fic; I have several things stalled, but maybe trying something new would be better
- don't make myself crazy over the horrible things that the new US administration/Congress are likely to do, because I can't fix all that
- do something I enjoy every week; reading is fine, but something else too would be good
I'm not really a good resolution-maker or a goal-setter. If I feel like I'm going to be pressured about doing stuff it makes me anxious and actually less likely to do it. This might relate to the fact that if I outline a story, or even have more than a vague end in mind, if that, I am less likely to write the thing? Or maybe not, since the story-writing block has more to do with the fact that if I know how it ends, why should I bother writing it down?
