Still here...
Just, you know, busy. We're still working on getting enough suitable pictures for the Dear Birthmother letter; the text is all approved but we need a few more pics. Sigh. Kind of tough to get pics of the two of us together, given that neither Juno nor Tain has good facility with the camera. ;)
At work I'm hiring a new staff member, so did interviews for that last week and now need to start calling references. SO is chairing a search committee for a new faculty member in his department, so he's even busier than I am doing that since he has to organize campus visits. Also I am on a Very Important Committee at my uni, which is probably going to have about 4 hours of meetings Every Week in the fall semester, plus a lot of out-of-meeting reading to do. We're already doing some work now in the summer, but it's only about 2-3 hours of meetings per week and not as much needing to be done outside the meeting times.
Anyhow, that's at least partly why I haven't been posting lately. But I wanted to say that I'm Not Dead Or Anything, and to say MANY THANKS to felaine for the lovely postcard!
