Looks like we will be getting at least some money from insurance towards replacing the roof; the claims adjuster was there this morning and that's the tentative word. It'll be a day or two before we hear exactly what/how much, but even if it's only half the estimated cost, that would be fantastic. It might even be as much as 3/4 (our deductible amounts to roughly 1/4). SO, of course, will be tense about it until there is something definite in writing, but I am already pretty much relieved. This might mean we could get the smaller bathroom fixed this year after all; it would be awfully nice to be able to shower again.
