CSA last Friday included: a bunch of small turnips, 3 small cukes, 3 young onions, rosemary, 8 oz garlic scapes, mint, a small bok choy, salad greens, 2 pints strawberries, a bunch of radishes, and 2 bunches of young celery.
So this week we're having:
chicken kebabs (the Middle Eastern version, using the mint and onions), rice (with minced garlic chives and parsley from last week stirred in),
mustard-soy chicken,
pureed turnips & potatoes, salad (using salad greens, cukes, and radishes), strawberries, grilled salmon (with minced garlic chives and dill from previous weeks), bok choy (probably stir-fried), and other veg as needed. I haven't used last week's kale; either I'll cook that Tuesday or freeze for gumbo if it's still good. The celery I might braise, maybe in a little white wine or something.
I'm typing this on the laptop which has the sticky keys, so I'll stop with this before I get too annoyed trying to type.
