I mean, getting turned down for the half-time job I interviewed for isn't as big a deal as my grandpa's death, but still. It would be nice to have something substantially good happen.

I'm hoping - am applying to 3 today, though only one is really a librarian position; but the other 2 are at least IN libraries.

Well, shit. I'm sorry to hear that, and my apologies for not having written sooner about my condolences about your grandfather. I saw that you were going to be busy and might not be able to reply, and I'm glad that you were able to see him in the recent past.

Surely something else promising will occur on the career front! I'm giving the MLS/MIS route another closer look myself… via a Canadian university.
