HAPPY VOTING DAY!!!
Let's hope this will be a turning point for us here in the US and the chance to have some faith in the common sense and good judgment of our fellow citizens. I was about to lose hope but now I have some stirrings of confidence that perhaps we are not doomed.
As Chloe said, so many women especially have sacrificed for our right to cast our ballots and of course so many men and women have given everything for this freedom. And unlike so many others, we need not vote in fear. The worst thing we face is a wait in line.
So I am off now to exercise my right to be heard and counted. I hope all my fellow citizens will join me--even if you are not in a pivotal race.
BECAUSE...Every vote cast reminds the politicians that they are accountable.
