Today is the day I find out if I can have the ratties! The shelter opens at 1:00 and I will be calling at 1:01. :D Incidentally, I'm also supposed to be on desk duty at 1... the only two things I really have to do all day today and they have to coincide. Oi.
Today is also gym day - I get to go for two hours a week on the clock now, woot! Last week I had an introduction to the weight machines and ended up sore for three days, so actually using them for real should be a blast. >.< Think I'll do upper body on Tuesdays and lower on Thursdays, which should give the muscles a week of rest in between sessions. ("Muscles," ha! Like I have those. :p)
Watched The Grinch last night. It never gets old. "And the Grinch, with his Grinch feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling - 'How could it be so?!'" The ideal Christmas theme followed by "Shrek the Halls," which I felt was a strange bit of irony, honestly. Also read a little bit and watched my cats run madly through the house. I think Minnow knows there are potential new cuties coming in, and he is already vying for his share of the attention.
Guess I should make something for breakfast and find some warm clothes for today. We have predictions of snow this week, and I had to shut the window last night because the room got so cold even with it just cracked. Maybe my landlords finally turned the heat down a little bit? That would be awesome.
Anyways, hope everyone survives the day. Seems like there's a lot of terrible karma running rampant out there lately. I hope it passes soon.
