day 1
I have officially started the road trip to NY. I am currently in Deltona with my stepfather. We are stopping by to visit his mother who is sick in the hospital. She seems to be doing better so that's good. We ate so much today. I finally got to visit a Cracker Barrel and enjoyed a delicious meatloaf sandwich. I wish I had tried going to that place sooner because i've found out that they don't have any on Long Island. Oh well. We bought some moon pies and I officially feel fat as hell. Anyways...tomorrow we are going to visit his mother again and then after that we are making a pit stop at St. Augustine. I have always wanted to go there and now I finally get a chance to. We are going to take a trolley tour around the city and just look around and take some pictures. It's supposedly the oldest city in Florida and is said to be haunted. I would've loved to do a ghost tour but they're only at night and I don't think we can stay too long there for we have to keep driving or else we'll never get to NY. After that we will drive a bit and then go to Virginia. There's a themepark that John (my stepfather wants to take me). My birthday is on Wednesday so I'm wondering if I'll be enjoying the park on my birthday or if I'll be in NY to spend it with my family. Regardless, this trip has been pretty cool so far. I'm going to go to sleep soon and start another day and visit a new place. I hope this trip is just the beginning of a newer and better life for me. I hope.
