(no subject)
For all my friends out there, a lot of you are going through tougher times or simply periods of life adjustment. Be it medically, financially, tough issues with jobs and work, or school (be it wrapping up or just starting), coming together in a formally recognized partnership, having new family additions of the 2 or four legged variety and for one of you I am Scrambling full-tilt on to help you find a loan that doesn't require a co-signer before the 10th since your family... Well I won't go there in a public-ish post.
If anyone wants a greeting card popped in the mail you know the drill... I went on a two card spree today, one with recipient in mind and one just to hold onto for now...
Primroses are ready and waiting for me to swoop them up. but I've recently seen French ones and so of course they look like runway models, tall and skinny and less bushy-clustered... I love them. But I also love the squat little ones we had last year. The apartment balcony full of them in such a profusion of colour.
I <3 MORE magazine. It's the best standard women's American magazine I've found yet. But i'm soo jealous of Erica's selection of alterna-publications at Powell's etc... I personally boycott Barnes and Noble here because the Women's Interest section is the wedding magazines , fluff-gossip rags, Glamour's how to make the man happy articles and the like while Men's Interests cover yes, Maxim and my beloved GQ, for the fashion tips, but also Psychology, Science (Astronomy hello my love - with my telescope), and the nature mags...
Good fluffy mags can be really fun at a Doc's office... but I don't like having my extra x chromosome determine that I'm crossing some boundary to just look at National Geographic even.

.........My new debit card came in the mail and i'm all set. Researched my accounts and nothing was touched, or at least access was denied. I was paranoid, rightfully after all that was purposefully taken last Feb and have a lot more safeguards in place than the average person... Now I just have to hope no one washed my ss card for illegal work purposes... Or my taxes will get complicated this year.
Geese make me happy. Hearing them fly overhead in mid-Winter flight... I always have loved Fly Away Home.
Partner restaurant next door (to work) brought over a bucket of fortune cookies during a menu drop yesterday and I had 2 toonight... and about 6-7 last night... Is that a lot of good firtune or aking for bad firtune due to greed? They're even better stale...
