Love today for tomorrow's memories.

Spring is a time of renewal, right? People say so, from scientists to the common suburban drudge, but what about the other components of spring? People just continue on through the end of Winter hoping that somehow things will get better but Spring often doesn't find those yields.

Tragedy isn't necessarily renewal, but it provides a chance for change and strengthening. Finding new places, even within ourselves, is what comes with escape and exploration.

Go outside when you can no longer take the howls of pain indoors. Do not turn your fear and loathing inward, upon yourself, your body, but instead celebrate what you have to the fullest with yourself and others. Don't be afraid to reach out for support.

Tell people you love them. Hug frequently. When nothing is left between you and tears give them some space by letting them out.

Do not count time in measured amounts if you can help it. Count in moments. Remember that there are many in the world who love you.

Send people a postcard or letter. They could use it. Leave your address out to get mail. It makes you feel good. Above all, continue with Compassion and Hope.

I'm sorry for the tough times now and ahead.
For diseases and time-lines and for having those we love ripped away from us.

And if you're also reading this I really owe you an apology: I'm sorry for what I put in that message and I am keeping you in my thoughts. People love you. Don't give up on that. You'd also break someone beyond repair who loves you more than anyone else.
