Wish you were here
Sometimes I feel like if you were here and I could just wrap you around me like my own childhood blankie everything would automatically be better. I know that's a lot of pressure to put on a friendship, but even across the hours and miles and days, you should still know that you always ground me in the positives of where we have been and where we are going. It helps when everything seems so overwhelming and I'm drowning in my own failed ambitions that you are always there to be my lifeline. All it takes is a word or hug sent across a telephone line. I aspire to be that kind of friend for you.
