thesis
school has started, and i'm as busy as ever. trying to finish my internship, which i would like to do sooner rather than later, but i think my supervisor wants me to keep helping out there even after my hours are finished. then at hiller they asked me to stay and do some of the school programs when classes come for field trips. so that will slowly reve up, already booked for 4 dates! my boss at CAS decided she wants me to sell tickets so i just learned the cashier, and that will take up more time, since i have to write down the days i want off rather than just decline if they don't work with my schedule. oh not to mention I have two classes this semester, interpretation (with the new professor, and it's frustratingly boring in class) and fundraising (more work, reading, and fun). Then i am also gearing up on my thesis!
speaking of thesis, i met with one professor last week and he really liked my idea, and suggested i talk with the director. Today i met with the director and at first she didn't seem to like my topic, but then she got into it and started going on about how it might even be something which could be turned into an article for publication! then she handed me a big book (vol. #2 of the museum directory) and said to look up companies and draft a letter to mail out asking for information. I'm so completely excited i just hope i can stay focused enough to really get this all done by next spring.
i should really lay out a schedule for myself and start chunking out times for research and study, maybe i'll be more on track if i give myself a better timeline. off to research!
