a job? soon shall see
i did my interview with the hiller aviation museum today. it was over the phone which was super awesome because that way i didn't have to get down there for it! well the woman had told me it would probably be a half-hour to 45 minutes, but it was for about 15. and well i think it went pretty well cuz at the end of it they said they'd let me know at the end of the month, but then they called back 10 minutes later and she was like we really liked you and we want to go to the next step and have me send down 2 recommendations. so yay! i feel pretty positive about this, even if it still doesn't work out, it's certainly got a good chance!
so i went over and talked with sally and she was perfectly happy to write me a recommendation letter. tomorrow im going to ask mary, who after the last couple of days i think she's gonna write such a steller letter! in fact mary was sooooo sweet to me today and said she's really going to miss having me there. she even joked if maybe i didn't want to go to grad school but just stay there instead, only i probably wouldn't be paid as well.
oh and the ceiling didn't fall down! yay! but it's really weird to see the museum totally under construction. thank god for insurance and luck. the museum ghost was looking out for us ;-)
uhm yeah i think i totally lost my train of thought cuz kathleen called, and i had to update her on the museum....
oh yeah and sean looks so cute too today he got a haircut so he looks snazzy for his presentation expo thingy on friday!
and i get to go to the symphony (corvallis) on tuesday cuz walter who volunteers at the museum and did an exhibit for the symphony had 2 tickets to give away and asked if i would be interested!
