first off Kudos to steph and her awesomatastic hostessness! thanks again!
fun evening last friday, made fun of many a book at borders, and then overendulged in yummy food at mcminimins and sweetlife. then we all read palms :-p my lifeline apparently means i'll live at least 70 years! thats nice right?!
then today i went and hung out at starbucks and there was a huge hailstorm outside at one point, it was very funny to watch the people scurry for cover. (im awful)
walked around the art museum, where there were quite a few new things that i hadn't seen last time i was there, (besides the changing show) such as the collection of japanses artworks and artifacts, and then there was the throne room (chinese) which had not been displayed when i was there last. it was very impressive. there's this pagoda, the jade pagoda, it sold in the 60s for like 20 million, tying a van Gogh for auction. and no one knows why the owner decided to donate it to the art museum at oregon.... but they did! so that was super neat. not so neat was being yelled at by a security guard for texting sean on my phone like once! she's all like "the way you're holding it and standing there for so long it looks like you're taking a picture, i don't want to see that phone again! put it away!"(whilst i was in the process of turning it off and putting it away, go grief lady they don't go off in 2 seconds, it takes a little bit)
then the rest of my day i came home and relaxed, of course until my parents show up and make the quiet peaceful house noisy and busy and bright (i was enjoying my darkness!
ok we're watching brit coms!!! wow i havent' had a saturday of brit coms in awhile, yay judy dench <3
