Snowflake Challenge-Day 6

Jan 06, 2015 17:01

I've had a long but good day where my meeting this afternoon felt like it went really well. It snowed last night and the cold is coming so now it feels like January. I'm happy to be home in the warmth and not to have to go out into the world until tomorrow.

The timing of today's
snowflake_challenge was perfect.

Day 6

In your own space, create a fanwork. A drabble, a ficlet, a podfic, or an icon, art or meta or a rec list. A picspam. Something.

A few days ago, I wrote a fic for a good friend of mine and today I posted it on Archive of our Own. This is a new fandom for me but referring to one that I love and might be the start of more.

What do they teach in these schools? (337 words) by FiKate
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: The Flash (TV 2014)
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Barry Allen, Iris West, Joe West
Additional Tags: Storytelling, Childhood, reading narnia in world
Summary:
A present for dodger_sister who wanted a Narnia fic but instead I wrote Narnia being read within the world of The Flash. Joe is reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to Barry and Iris and it brings up some parallels to Barry's situation. The title comes from what Professor Kirke says to Peter and Susan, not the exact quote.
