Goodness, we wouldn't want you using logic!

Peanut and pumpkin soup sounds amazing! Would you mind sharing the recipe? I improvise most of my soups out of a chicken broth base with whatever thrown in. My favorite chicken soup in the world is:

Low-sodium chicken broth - maybe 2 cans?
maybe 1/2 cup of dry white wine? IDK, I dump some in to taste. It should give it a rich flavor without making the broth sweet.
2 boneless chicken breasts
some tarragon + a bay leaf
2 or 3 leeks
2 or 3 stalks of celery
a carrot

I slice up the veggies and dump them into the bottom of the pan with the herbs, put the two chicken breasts on top, and add enough of the liquid to cover it all. You can add some water if you don't feel like you have enough broth. Bring to a boil and then turn down the heat to medium and simmer til the chicken is cooked through, and then shred the chicken breasts with two forks.

You can add some salt and pepper at the end, and take out the bay leaf before serving. It's so yummy. You could probably put noodles in about ten minutes from the end, but I love it best without noodles. You could probably also crockpot the whole thing, which I'm currently considering doing later this week.

I think its the prof trying to make us deal with the theory as the other assignments are all practical. I have time to fix it since the final draft is due at the end of the semester.

The recipe is really simple just canned pumpkin, pureed sweet potato, broth, onions and peanut butter. When I last made it, I spiced it up a lot and it was so tasty. This recipe looks good too.
