Yes, totally, and it's completely heartbreaking (for me anyway >.>). Roxas' story in general is just so tragic and I think DiZ and Yen Sid are LYING LIARS WHO LIE about Nobodies being completely devoid of feelings. Not saying that they're creatures full of rainbows and unicorns, but I think it's possible for them to develop their own feelings about things, over time. Maybe.
(And then the rest of the game is Axel running around doing whatever the hell he can to fix something that can't be fixed while Saix stalks him and then he lights himself on fire and dies. o.o though the american version took out the whole 'lights self on fire' thing in their release. why does japan get to keep all the good stuff.)
358/2! Oooo, you have no idea how annoyed I am right now that I don't have DS. :( Though I have read the spoilers! Haha, I remember being so disappointed when the images of Xion came out- is there anything more Mary Sue than a new girl becoming the 14th member of Org XIII? Yeah, so much for that thought. XD
We were robbed, seriously. And not just with the setting-on-fire part -- I hate how we didn't get the Final Mix of KHII over, because we missed heartbreaking and doujin-in-the-making important moments, such as. Then again I'm sort of glad this wasn't included in a newer English version (because, B'AWWW), but then it fits well with Axel's "I wanted to see Roxas because [insert the rest of his will]" and because he does get that, and some more. /RAMBLES.
I want to send you my spare black DS, so bad D: I couldn't stop laughing when I heard about the added girl because, God, does it look like she was forced into the plot or does it? She's there for a twist, I'm sure, but... so forced, added-material that the fans can do without. I didn't read any of the spoilers, but the Japanese fandom tells me of so many Organisation XIII interactions and Axel pretty much baby-sitting Roxas (Japanese fandom, STOP TEASING ME). *headdesk* Did the English release have to be delayed a whole year?
