good day
there was sun! Even if it was cold.... Went out, and had a nice ride on WR who was full of beans after having had a few days off and lots of feed. So he was pleased to be out, and we had a nice ride through the forest - nice to have a shortish relaxed ride, makes a nice change. Cleaned some tack, it's incredibly satisfying smothering dry leather with oil - it just drinks it in and somehow seems so grateful for it!! Very relaxing.
Then back into the forest and we cut the top rail off a gate to make a nice jump for the horses - a little higher than some of the others in there. And found another tree which we hitched up on a stump for another jump - so will have to trial those tomorrow. Very satisfying doing some proper work after all the easter chocolate!!! :)
Ohh, also saw Alice in Wonderland which was pretty good - queen reminded me of Queenie from Blackadder :)
