Comments on Inside Man - NCIS 0703
Just a few more random comments.
Forgot to add that i'm not a Ziva and/or a TIVA fan - although there's not really bashing since I hardly noticed her in the ep.
NCIS - 0703 - Inside Man
So, what did I know going in to this episode?
Not a lot actually. I’d seen the clip of McGee being called back to retake his polygraph, and Tony flipping the pen. And I’d seen the promo with the dog and the junkyard and the mug shots (and really, guys shouldn’t be that hot in mug shots!)
(Also noticed that McGee was wrong and Tony is actually an inch taller than him!)
So on with the show.
“We don’t need any more delays” Well, looks like you just got one!
Awww, no Jimmy this week :-(
Ziva “I’m still waiting for my status to be clarified” Yeah, well the viewers have been waiting 4 seasons for that to happen.
Usually when somebody butts heads with NCIS and doesn’t want to back down, they turn out to be the bad guy. I really hope this doesn’t happen. (Wish that more shows would avoid the cliché ‘anybody who doesn’t agree with the hero is evilllll!!!!!’)
Considering that NCIS went to great lengths to cover up Director Shepard’s death, it will be a bit hypocritical if any of the team gets any way indignant over the blogger’s accusation.
Tony is being very shifty when talking to the judge, probably keeping an eye out for the metro cops!
Yep, here they are!
The Lieutenant knows more than she’s saying. Probably guilty. Then again, maybe she’s a red herring.
“You’re not listening to me” Well McGee, even though I love you waaay more than Abby, you *are* on company time and she’s the one discussing a case.
Then again, Abby is not exactly being supportive. Regardless of whether McGee is overreacting.
“Fraternization in the work place, never a good idea” (Hear that pro-Tiva’s!)
14 mins in and they’re bringing her in. Guess she must be innocent
“Which means we blew the investigation” Oh but surely don’t you mean *Gibbs* blew the investigation, McGee? After all, when an innocent man went to jail (Bounce) it was all Tony’s fault, right? Didn’t see the rest of the team stepping up to take their share of the responsibility. (Okay, I’ll excuse Lee on account of her being dead)
“I have to say that or he’ll talk my ears off” (snicker)
“You ever lie like that to me, Duck?”
“Never” (yeah right!)
“Unbury it” Guess who’s going grave robbing!
“I’ve heard every imaginable joke” Yeah, and Tony is spending the rest of the scene trying to think of a new one!
“Oh dear” (snicker) Poor Ben!
(I have a feeling this is going to be like South by South West where we got the promos of Tony and Gibbs on horseback and it didn’t happen until the last act. Why do I feel that the ‘mug shots’ plot will be the same)
(snicker) Tony is being mean, but come on, there’s vending machines in NCIS and McGee is a big boy and can find his own food.
Something *Abby* finds disturbing? Hah!
Didn’t think it existed.
So much for Gibbs ‘handling’ McGee’s appointment.
Tony “I got an idea”
McGee should have a bad feeling about that!
Okay, so maybe it wasn’t quite the last act before they got to do their B&E.
B&E to get evidence. Like any evidence obtained that way is going to be admissible in court “Poison fruits etc”
Although since half the perps end up dead, I guess evidentiary matters aren’t really much of a concern.
Aren’t they required to put up warning signs if there’s dogs on patrol?

LOL at Tony’s “MCGEE!!!!” and his shrieking like a girl!
Abby shouldn’t be so worried. If Tony and McGee can produce proof that they’re NCIS, then they surely wouldn’t be in with the general population. Then again, Sportelli (?) the jerk could easily put them there out of spite.

So they know who stole the body, but who killed the blogger? And only about 5 mins to wrap it up.
So, the whole ‘lets redo your polygraph’ was all so the tech could get him back down there to flirt? (rolls eyes)
(okay, I know it was to give McGee the idea to check the rail pass, but surely they could have come up with something like tech failure so something)
I do love it when Tony and Tim work together. They’re such a great double act.
So basically it’s okay to mess with people and use NCIS resources to try and get a date (rolls eyes)
Doesn’t know if it’s possible for Ziva to be NCIS? Like the fact that she should be a US citizen? And I guess they’re probably not going to bother with sending her to FLETC (?) or what ever the new recruits have to go through.
Not a bad ep, loved the Tony & Tim interactions. Unfortunately, with Ziva back in the field I’m guessing there’ll be a lot less of that to come.
Then again, Gibbs hasn’t signed that paper yet.
(yeah, I know, Ziva ain’t going anywhere yet, so they’ll have to shoe-horn her in somehow)
