Torrential Downpour in Orlando, FL
Left Springfield at 11:40 pm on Friday; arrived in Orlando 8:15 am on Sunday. 36 hours, 4 buses, 2 cups of coffee. Met Zanna & Seth at the station and am now at their apartment with their cat, Kazi, who licked my hands because she could taste the bacon that Seth just made for us. Hopefully it will be nice tomorrow so we can go to the beach. I'm happy to be off of a bus. My seat partner between Atlanta and Orlando was very nice. He was a truck driver and telling me all about how they have bunk beds in the truck, and how he sleeps on the top and has to grab on to the railings if the other driver slams suddenly on the brakes.
