Officially leaving tomorrow.
My mum and dad are here, eating pizza and kebab on the couch and watching Billy Connolly. It's so nice to be doing something normal with them, I'm always glad to have them back. We're moving all my stuff out tomorrow and I'll officially be back home for the summer. I did try to pack but was distracted b more important things (face it, slash fiction and Disney movies are more entertaining than folding clothes). I'm dying to get back and just relax but I will miss this flat like mad - and the double bed I shall be deprived of back home. I got to give mum her birthday present - I bought her a cuddly Simba toy and she loved it. Some things you just don't grow out of.
My cousin and his fiance had their little baby boy early this morning. Lewis Stanley Smith is healthy and absolutely adorable. He was born on his due date - go Kirsty, that never hppens in our family. Mum is dying to see him. The poor kid won't get a moment's peace. My auntie, the doting gran, is out wetting the baby's head already.
Anybody else feel really awkward with the Britain's Got Talent finale? I didn't watch it but I feel so sorry for Susan Boyle. The press built her up solely to watch her crumble and it was painful. I sincerely hope she has a great future ahead of her because despite the huge hype and undeserved attention basically every news channel pushed onto her, she's got a fantastic voice.
I just want to say a massive thank you to all of you guys for the lovely things you all said on the anonymous message meme. I felt so incredibly touched and got very teary reading them all. You're all far too kind to me and I want you all to know how much I love and respect you all. *hugs to all*
