Originally uploaded by ZetaroseCeilidh amazes me every day. It seems she's learning at such an incredible rate lately. She just soaks everything up like a little sponge, learning many new things and new words every day. Today she learned where here cheeks were and went around the house pinching her own cheeks and exclaiming, "cheeks!" She learned to say the sound that dogs make "ruff ruff" and to pant like a dog. She learned to sing the first three letters in the ABC song and to repeat the names of each letter of the alphabet as her papa played with her and her foam letters in the tubby. She learned the color pink and she learned about the number two. We took her to Target this afternoon to buy her a secondary swimsuit because she plays in the water so much its hard to keep just one clean and ready. Jack and I picked out two swimsuits and showed them to her. She likes to pick her own cloths of course. I asked her, "which one do you like?" She got a huge grin on her face and grabbed both saying, "I like!" I replied, "Ceilidh you have to pick just one." She smiled great big, grabbed both again, and said with great gusto, "TWO!" I think we're in trouble. Finally, she learned just how good ice cream can be on a hot summer day. Before we went home we stopped off at Brewster's for ice cream. This was Ceilidh's first experience with ice cream. She's had popsicles before but never ice cream. She gobbled it down saying, "Mmmm good" and "Yummy". When she was finished she was covered in sticky from head to toe and ran around the grassy area around Brewster's on a complete sugar high. She's such a little cutie. :)
