So they decided to spring "Occular Harassment" day on us a day early this week due to the upcoming holiday schedule. I truly hate eye exam day in the Special Care Nursery. All the screaming babies really get to you after awhile, and of course I can't stand to see little Ceilidh with her swollen eyes after the exam. The good thing though is Ceilidh's ROP looked better this week which means it is beginning to resolve itself. This is fantastic news. The doc wants to do another exam next week just to keep a check on things, but this is truly wonderful progress. We have been so fortunate with Ceilidh's overall progress. She has come such a long way since they first brought her to Riley. I just feel so blessed that she is doing so well, and so thankful for the incredible care she has received.
