As an early holiday gift, J.K. Rowling announcned the official title of book 7 on her webpage today. The last installment will be called "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." Unofficial announcements regarding the release date have said 07-07-07 (Harry Potter's fictional birthday is July 7th).
Can't wait can't wait can't wait!!!
*edit* It is not harry potters birthday, his bday is on July 31st, the fansite i was referencing led me astray. There are still lots of other reasons though, to assume that SOMETIME in July, the final installment will be available and I can finally not be worried about dying not knowing the end of the Harry Potter series...
