My life has taken a crazy crazy turn around in the past few weeks. I quit my crummy drama job for a job in Marin as a Nanny. So far the kids are totally awesome, I'm making almost 3 times what I was making, and overall it looks like I'm in for a totally wicked badass fun summer. I have my weekends free, the first Saturday I had off in 9 months was yesterday which coincided with Fairfax Festival. Vicki and Liz have been home visiting from NYC all this week which has been awesome, as well as seeing and catching up with many many old friends throughout the course of my week back in Marin. Tomorrow I drive back to Davis and finish my last days at the Mansion and then I am liberated to just work as a nanny and finish my thesis. Oh, but did I mention that i get access to the awesome snacks in the children's cupboard AND that their mom just bought me a season pass to six flags marine world so that i can take the kids on a regular basis? awesome. Its amazing how much luck can change in such a short time. I've got to enjoy every iota of a second of this because who knows when the tables will turn again, but for now I feel totally liberated and like an enormous cloud of negativity has been lifted from my shoulders!
