clean slate. exhale.
i'm back in cincinnati until january 2006. i'm working as a waitress at pomodori in montgomery, and like it so far. katy is staying in the 513 for the same amount of time, and we've planned mountains of fun things to do. we're looking for friends here also, so if you're in town don't hesitate to let me know. we're also looking to find a good bar to call our own, so if you have any suggestions please speak up.
cincinnati has its ups and downs, and is just downright way different than bloomington, but its nice to be in a city again. i was driving through fields ertel yesterday and notice that soon the "iron chef grill and sushi bar" is opening. exciting. i've had a handful of adventures since i've been home, and although i'm missing bloomington and my friends there, i know i'm going to have a lot of fun this summer. probably more than had i stayed in town, as everyone who i've talked to who is there now seems kind of bored. i did go visit on friday and had a wonderful time, and was sad that i had to leave so soon for work on saturday. c'est la vie.
i'm going to chicago for
lollapalooza in july and am ecstatic. its going to be so amazing, i cannot wait. not much else is planned for right now. i'm just taking everything as it comes, and learning a lot about life in the meantime. i've decided to completely change the way i run this journal, including the frequency with which i update, so expect something soon.
