Birthday come early?
OOOH HELLO THERE MY BEAUTIFUL DSLR!!! Should I name it? If so, what should I name it?
Some relatives went overseas and thought it'd be cheaper to buy me a SLR over there so I thought "well if they're kind enough to offer" but there we went through all this trouble cause they wanted to get me something nicer or wanted me to be more specific and blahblahblah. But anyway, they did go through the trouble for me and I am very grateful! I promised them to try and take nice photos of their daughter for them. (Because you know, just cause I have a nice camera means I'm a spectacular photographer. My cousin is just going to have to be my test subject and I'll just keep taking photos of her until some turn out hald decent |D)
The only problem is that the battery charger is from Hong Kong (but I think it has a Japanese plug) so this just adds to my list of appliances that need a converter when I want to charge it. I swear I need to buy like a Japanese power board to make my life a little easier. WHY IS ALL MY STUFF JAPANESE?!
ANYWAY. Looking forward to playing with my new little baby~
And my beautiful doujin and cards from otakupink_sale ! I apparently haven't changed my address on paypal and totally forgot so it went to my old address |D Luckily mum still goes over there to check if there's stray mail. No wonder it didn't arrive here this morning when I expected it to. Mmm it's a pretty Academy doujin and the entire first chapter is Shuuhei and Izuru XDDDD!! Not a pairing doujin but still, I love it!
Shuu: What was it... Ki---Ki...ra.... Kira--
Izu: -Izuru.
Shuu: Right, Izuru-kun then. *grins*

And finally, went out to some end of semester thing for uni today. They were showing all the music videos we made over the semester but the projector was really bad, it was all too bright and you couldn't really see anything. Oh well, still fun to have a night to just sit and chat with people.
I dragged my friend Alice along and I bought us a Smirnoff Ice to share. She went to get the next round and came back with two slightly larger cans so ... well despite what live_with_love is saying; I am NOT drunk. (Just because I looked at the can of Smirnoff and said "Well if Shuu and Izu can do it, I can too!" before I drank it)
Though because live_with_love , blue_eyesgirl and I are always saying that the three of us have this strange psychic connection, I said that maybe I am a little bit because they sounded drunk on Skype XDD (When actually they were watching a game show and trying to beat the contestants in spelling words out of random letters- all I heard was the two of them making funny sounds).
