hmm yeah I do love greenery. And I actually like rain most of the time. I'm definately not used to the hot weather though. Also, we don't have many bugs here and if Florida is anything like Texas..I'm screwed. >.< LOL

Um... well... the mosquito is the State Bird, if that tells you anything. ;-) We do have a lot of bugs, but I never really thought much about it until I started hanging out with people who haven't lived here their entire lives. I've been in Florida for 33 years, but I lived in every state from Louisiana to South Carolina before that... and all of them have plenty of bugs (and heat, for that matter). OTOH, even the cheapest hovel here will probably have central AC. We just don't go outside if it's deathly hot... except to go to the beach or to a pool or lake... somewhere where we can get WET to cool off! :-)

One thing that sucks about Oregon is honestly, a lot of the people. hehehe. I'm hoping wherever we end up that the people will be friendly. If most Floridians (is that what they call them) are like you, it would be nice.

I agree... that *would* be nice. LOL. They're not. In fact, one reason jbarbie23 suggested that I find my way to LJ was because I was whining that I feel like I'm surrounded by ignorant idiots IRL most of the time. So... moving to Florida isn't gonna help in the "people" category. But... wait... you were talking about friendliness. Well, one thing we do pretty well in the South (which includes Florida whether most Floridians want to believe that or not) is friendliness... so I think you'd be happy with the people here from that perspective.

Oregonians are also horrid drivers. But not me of course. heheh.

Uh-oh... we're screwed there. We have lots of traffic (tourism is our #1 industry, ya know) and old people (everyone has to retire to Florida... apparently, that's the LAW ;)). I am LMAO right now, though, because I tried to Google "worst drivers by state" or something like that... and I found this link... http://money.cnn.com/2005/05/27/Autos/test_scores/index.htm

Oregon's drivers actually scored the highest on a WRITTEN driving test... which just goes to show ya that written driving tests don't tell you shit about the quality of driving a person will actually exhibit on the ROAD! ;-)
