week of Gah!
so the big news this week is that Tuesday my hubbie macavite was laid off from work. The good thing about this is that I went in for surgery on Wednesday so now he and my mom are around to take care of me. The bad thing is the whole unemployed thing *sigh*. He is getting an okay severance package but the timing could have been a little better. We just bough nonrefundable plane tickets to Australia that we may have to toss and due to my asthma and surgery we are getting a lot of medical bills. Oh well.
So if anyone knows about Training and Development positions please pass them on.
On the plus side, Team Oregon is giving him a few more classes and I am learning how to do the classroom part of the motorcycle training this weekend so we should get a little more money from that. Of course I will be going through Classroom Instructor Prep on painkillers and an inability to be in one position for long so it should be interesting.
Regarding the surgery.. sounds like things went well from the doctor's perspective. She found several polyps, not just the one expected from the ultrasound. She even took pictures that I can see at our post op appointment. Oh goody. Makes me think of Turning Japanese - "I want a doctor to take your picture, So I can look at you from inside as well". Wonder if I should ask for copies :) Things are going okay for me too.. Some pain but usually at the lower end of the scale, I've had worse cramps. But the more active I am the worse the pain gets so I am taking it easy again today. Watched a lot of Firefly yesterday with my mom and various cats acting as heating pads for me. Maybe today we will break out some Bab 5.
