wow - some old news and some new
been a long time since my last confession.
Lots of prep for the Dalles 09. Tis the 5th year there and our 10th annual halloween party. Needless to say we are going a lil hog wild on things.
I am officially teaching Team Oregon as an instructor. I passed all my apprenticeships and internships. Have taught one class as on official instructor and will be teaching my second one this weekend.
My grandma passed away a few weeks ago. She was my dad's mom so was the side I am not that close to anymore but I have to agree with my sister who said that she was the definition of grandma. She will be missed.
I am seriously thinking about moving Captain again. I found a barn that is about 17 miles away. There is a decent eventing instructor there and it would be great to be at a place where I can take lessons again. The negative is that is about 800 to 1000 feet higher in elevation so come winter it could be a bitch to get to. There is also a steep gravel driveway that Bee does NOT like. The plus side is that it is about 10 minutes from kachera's place and she is willing to help get Captain back in shape with me and check on him if I can't make it out due to weather. It will also be super fun to get to when the roads are dry.
The other new thing is that I am finally going to Vegas. Mac's work will be putting on several conferences there this year so I will be joining him for a few days in November. We have tickets to see both O and Zumanity.
I'm sure there are other things... most of my updates these days seem to be hitting facebook. Need to remember to post here too.
