Sunday at dragoncon
Finally had time to hit the art show today. Mac is chatting up all the comic book artists. Also finally had time for more than 30 minutes in the dealers room. There is so much to do it and not nearly enough time.
Last night was so much fun. The entire hotel turns into a party. I'm talking serious fire code violation due to so many people type party The three open floors of the hotel are packed. Mac even spotted Ron Glass in the crowd having a blast. The offical dance doesn't even start untill 2:30 am. There was also a voltare concert and a rainbow ball in the evening.
We are learning that the bigger panels don't really require all that much line time. I jumped in line 30 minutes before time for Patrick Stewart's panel and had great seats. He is a hoot. Mac joined me in line, realized he had forgotten his badge, made it to his room (same hotel thankfully) and still made it in to the room.
We are slowly learning the ropes and the tricks to D*C and having a great time. Really wish that many friends were here with us.
