Last night, during Champaigne toasts at the Adventurers Club, I asked Barelyproper to marry me. 2 years almost to the day we met.
She has such a kind and loving soul, one with such reserves of strength that I don't even think she knows truly how deep it goes.
Enchantingly sweet and witting and funny and generous and kind. Her crazy complements my own in a wonderfully joyous way, and she has been my north star this past year as I have attempted to navigate the trecherous waters of my chosen career path.
There is noone I'd rather be with than her, and I hope with off of my heart that that sentiment never changes.
