ok. im not gonna try to address every point in this rant. all im gonna say really is i like to buy presents for people. the expression on someones face when they are surprised with something they wanted but wouldnt buy themselves is the entire xmas season to me. since i finally had a job this year i spent nearly an entire paycheck on gifts for people i love. and im pretty happy about it. if have money why not share it? maybe you disagree that material things arent the way to go.. but this is our culture. we have things. but thank you tyler for looking deeper. and i recently got a crockpot, your mom and i should compare recipes. jk. sorta. haaaa.

Thanks Natalie. I wasn't trying to call anyone out, this is just what I choose for me. Plus it was a rant so I won't pretend I made great arguments, or arguments that applied to everyone.
So yeah, as you say in your journal, I guess this was mostly for me.
