(no subject)
Hello everybody!! well, i did it.. i've been talking about changing jobs, and i finally got fed up enough to do it. I tried to give two weeks notice, but my (uneducated, back-woods, east texas white-trash) manager made it too difficult. the (stupid) woman actually screamed at me when i gave her my notice. i did have the decency to finish my shift. so, now i'm working at brookshire brothers, which is a hell of alot closer to my house. and alot less stress. i'm working in the deli. and it's alot easier to get a day off if i need it. so, i'm alot happier. besides, pinecrest found out it was me that reported them for neglect, and the nurses were making it very hard for me there. hey, it's not my fault they left an old lady by herself all afternoon and she fell. there was alot more to it than that. anyway, my kids are really adjusting well to each other. it's been a hilarious start to this summer, though. alissa is jealous, because she is used to being daddy's only little girl during the week, and now kimi's home full time. and aeden is having a duck fit because he's used to having "dada" all to himself during the day while the other kids were at school, and now they are all at home all day. so, usually, doug has alissa in his lap and aeden hanging on his leg. literally. cody's baseball team came in second place for this season. he played very well the last game. we have it on tape. i got his report card and he made straight a's for the year. man, i am really, really proud. my grandfather is starting to pay attention to him now. he's really maturing (in alot of ways i'm not ready for). he's also starting to be a big help to his dad out in the shop. he helped doug build a wall today and doug said he did a really good job. anyway, i'm prattling on about nothing, so i'm going to go put my clothes in the washer and go to bed (since i know there's no chance that my husband is going to get romantic--and everyone always wondered why i used to date YOUNGER men!!). laters.
