Girl, keep on keeping on. People are hard and suck a lot and you just need to stop caring so much when you're not even involved in it personally. I know that's not going to happen quickly, but please, it's probably better for your mental health if you just start caring for yourself first. I think you can do it.

I hope you've started sitting with people you actually like during lunch too. Although I actually hope you have little to no time to eat because you've made that select group. Even if it drives you insane, just keep to yourself but never stop being who you are, hardcore sense of moral justice and everything. And if it comes to social suicide, oh well, who cares?

I hope you're done with your apps too. Just... even if you don't get in, you have to get somewhere right? Look on the bright side: things can only go uphill from here. Maybe. Hopefully.

As for the parents... they won't ever get off your back. Unfortunately.

Keep holding on to your happy place and stay in fandom, okay? It's kept you going for this long, and you've met so many awesome people. Stay with them too. Remember what you said? "I came for the music, I lingered for the silly, I stayed for the people." They're all amazing, amajing, epic, and everything. No matter how bleak things get, no repeats of 2008-2009, alright?

We don't talk as much as I'd like and that's mostly my fault. I should comment more!

I'm not really articulate or eloquent or whatever. I tend to spaz and flail and when I get serious I end up spazzing and flailing anyway. But this isn't about me! That was all just to say that I'm sorry I can't say anything meaningful that you'll want to read next year, or something like that.
