wowowowowow HELLO!
Surprisingly enough, I'm still logged in after not posting for so long...
Actually no, it's not much of a surprise. -_- I've been reading my friends page on and off (so I still have a semi-factual-semi-actual idea of what people are doing :D).
Updates on life:
+ School is eating my brains as usual. Still questioning why I'm in biology when that was my WORST MARK IN HIGH SCHOOL. D: Curse myself for being interested in crawly floaty flappy things!!! (ranges from bacteria to insects to birds.)
+ Related to the point above >> my mental capabilities are regressing with every regression I program/do by hand. (I'm undecided as to which one is more annoying to do.)
+ I've been substantially more interested in baking/cooking (more of the former) ever since I started dating (note positive correlation between interest and length of relationship). I actually baked a cake yesterday for his birthday! :O (I think that's like, the first cake I ever baked by myself.) It may or may not be good. Will know in half an hour when we eat it.
+ That said, I've been dating this guy for nearing a year and a half now. He buys me things and I make him things (I'm too poor and he's too uncreative). His internship wage is more than I'll make several years after I graduate. We both get geeky when it comes to Biology-related things, though in different aspects (even though he's an engineer...). He's a bigger geek 'cause he's named after a temperature scale hahaha (even though the scales were named after some guys in the first place...). We argue pointlessly about things totally unrelated to us. We call each other fat. It's a good relationship. :D
+ I've been shedding the procrastinator part of me, and the whole process has been pretty successful overall! (...except now.) Scratch one for New Year's Resolutions.
+ I changed my major to specialize in Ecology. It makes for awkward conversations like the following:
Person: [making small talk] So, are you in University? :D
Ceci: Yup, I'm in my third year.
Person: Oh, almost done! What are you taking?
Ceci: I'm an Ecology major.
Person: Oh, wow, that's really cool!
Ceci: [thrown off 'cause usually people are like, "uh...so what do you actually do?"]
Person: So, what made you decide to go into urology?
Ceci: ....no, I, uh, I'm an ECOLOGY major.
Person: Huh?
Ceci: Ecology. Ee-coh-loh-gee. I'm not in urology. I study Ecology.
Person: Oh, uh...so what do you actually do?
Time to eat cake. I'm OFFF :D
