What kind of dumb system is this?
I registered for my Fall/Winter session just now, and was told that half the courses I wanted to get into were already full. Okay, rather expected. My friend went to the Registrar, and was told that BioSci students were suppose to concentrate their major in their SECOND year.
w. t. f?
Okay, I've read the academic calendar (well, the pages that were relevant) at least a billion times by now, and it -clearly- states that concentration is in THIRD year. Not second year. So my friend goes and changes her major to Biological Science: Zoology. And then suddenly, she can't register for ANY of the courses she needs because she's "not a BioSci major anymore". Or some BS like that. Thanks guys.
I can't get into my chem course, which means I won't be able to do ANY of my other chem courses until I can get into that one.
At the rate this is going, I'm definitely not going to graduate in four years, even if I did spring/summer session.
I'm really worried about my friend, her registration time isn't until tomorrow morning...and who knows if there'll still be space in her lecture. Not to mention her bio lecture directly conflicts with her chem lecture, so she can't take both. Even though she needs to.
This really isn't the way I imagined my university years to be. =_=
(That said, happy birthday Annabanana ♥)
Oh and! I've been reading
E=mc2 by David Bodanis. It's a good light read - I started last night, read it on the bus and during lunch, am halfway through it. :D Did learn quite a bit...like how much of a jerk
Otto Hahn was. >_> (haha, well, Bodanis was probably bias. But I still think Hahn's a jerk to Lise Meitner.)
