Sooo who else is sick? :D So far, 74% of my friends are sick. :D :D :D;;;;; Man, and at the end of winter too.

- Back in December (four months back...:D;), the youth group from Church made cookies. I took some of the pre-made ones and decorated them. :D Some of the asian kids there actually knew it was Doraemon. >:D Despite the lack of resemblance ahaha. I think the green one was suppose to be a cat, but it just looks weird now. :(
- I also made jello during Christmas for Carole's party. :D I even went and made chocolate garnishes! The jello was orange & lime, I think. I was pretty darn proud, 'cause I never put effort into my food. XD;; *instant food person*
- And then Chinese New Year came along - my grandmother broke her hip right before that, so we took advantage of her having to live with my aunt while recuperating (my grandmother normally lives alone) and learned to make traditional New Year foods. :D We made gok zai (they're like...crispy with sesame-coconut? fillings. Some of them are curry-filled instead, but those aren't traditional :P) and lin go (I don't even know how to describe this one). The lin go is served sliced and fried with egg. :D And check out how much oil is used for the gok zai...T_T; It's kinda gross. We did make more than that, but that's all the pictures I have. >_>;
- My friends and I got together for a night of hot pot recently. :9 Close up! :D
- Also went to karaoke. :3; ...*addict* We ended up singing a whole bunch of really old Chinese songs. XD Like...some from the late 80s. Early 90s. XD Right up with the cheesy 90s music videos. Like this shot, complete with a random lady spinning around with a scarf. :D We were -almost- going to sing Cantonese opera for the heck of it, but decided it was too weird in the end. XD;;; (it was weird enough for a group of 18-year-olds to be singing songs our parents listen to...) Ah, but that was a fun night. ;_; Took some interesting videos, ehehe. *_*
