Good thing LJs don't expire if you don't use them for a month or something.
I wanted to make a post, but I'd like to start off school tomorrow without huge eyebags. I can't think right now, I'll do this later.
Volunteering @ the children's hospital:
I wish kids would wait till they're fully in the washroom with the door mostly closed before they start pulling down their pants or pulling up their skirts.
And that they'll alwaysalwaysalways remember to flush and/or wash their hands. :|
*drills it into their brain with a blunt screwdriver*
I'm a bit of a hygiene freak, sorry. Occasional exceptions made in food-on-floor cases (no, I don't pick gum up off the sidewalk and pop it in my mouth).
Interacting with the patients is interesting. Interacting with the parents of those patients, not so fun. Like I said to someone, understanding the parents' situation (having a sick child) really doesn't make them any less annoying. Especially when there are other children present, argh. Keep your behaviour under control!
Not that I'm doing a very good job of that myself, haha.
Been dreaming a lot these past two weeks (more?). Last night involved a boy, a library, and Mendelssohn. I don't understand.
Faceplant into cup. I don't think things'll be okay tomorrow today.
It's so silly, the time I'm spending there is the same as the bus ride one-way. I'd skip if I didn't care about public image (doesn't look very good to skip the very first day of school, does it).
Was reflecting on a conversation from several days ago.
I'm going to build some expectations now.
[edit] Did anyone catch the Finland-Czech WCH game yesterday? I overslept and missed it. I did found out the score, but am curious as to how the actual game went (ie, just how badly the Czechs played).
Missed the Germany-Sweden game too, I was on the bus at the time.
I did, however, manage to catch the Canada-US game. :) Can't miss that one.
